When buying a high chair for my 6month old daughter, is there anything in particular that I should look for?
Like, a space saver, or a reclining chair or something else? Also, she is just about to start on her first solids. If possible, pls give brand name suggestions which will be really helpful in buying a chair. P.S. I'm from canada. (any reference to high chairs sold in U.S or Australia or else where wont help me.) Thanks for reading!

- Reclining chairs are really really nice because then all you have to do is tip the seat back to get the baby out, instead of taking the tray off. I would also highly recommend the highchair seat that straps to your dining room chair. It saves SO MUCH space and they make ones that recline as well. Plus if you travel to see family like we do, all you have to do is unstrap it and take it with you.
- Unless you've got a really good sized eating area in your kitchen, go for a space saver or a travel booster seat. Once baby could sit up, I always ditched the high chair anyhow, and now use one of those plastic booster seats with a tray. Much cheaper, very portable, washable, etc.
- I have 17 month old twins and we just recently switched to boosters and I wish that I had bought a high chair that attaches to a regular chair and converts to a booster.....seems like such a waste of money to blow on seperate ones!!!!! This may be a US brand but Graco makes a good one
