Lazboy Recliners Knowledge Base
is it possible to clean (flattened) microfiber (recliner)? i would like to purchase 2 used microfiber lazboy recliners. the microfiber has kinda matted down where the persons had their (greasy) head. also where their legs rested. it is not so bad. this is why i am hopeful that with professional ulpolstery cleaning, that the chairs can be saved. the sellers want 300bucks for each chair, this is why i am writing. i do not want to take a chance if the chairs won't come back to very-good looking condition. i would like to know if there are any professional cleaners whom might have a comment. thank you.
where to complain on a company that cheats the handicapped? LAZBOY On July 1st I took my wife (who has a disability walking and walks with a "WALKER" Shopping for a comfortable chair. I have owned two Lazboy chairs in the last four years and convinced her to try one. We found one in Taupe that fit her height and weight perfectly.Even though it was more expensive than I originally wanted to spend I decided to purchase it!! When the salesman (Mr. Curtis Marquardt began writing up the order he said their would be a $54.95 DELIVERY CHARGE. I then asked him if it would be to big to be put in the truck of my car. He said yes!!! He also said if it were damaged in my truck I would be responsible! So I agreed to the delivery. Today, the chair was delivered and two men carried it in two parts and set it up within 15 seconds. In as much as the chair was in two parts it could have easily fit into my car and trunk and I didn't have to pay for DELIVERY!!! OF COURSE MR. MARQUARDT NEGLECTED TO TELL ME THAT!! As a long time buyer of LAZBOY recliners I would appreciate if you can RIGHT A WRONG that I experienced with this VENDOR!! Thank You for any help you can provide!! Anyone else have problems with LazBoy Savannah, GA? Feb 2007, My husband and I went to the local Savannah, GA LazBoy store to purchase a sofa to match 2 recliners I have purchased the year before. (LazBoy, 8880 Abercorn St, Savannah, GA). My husband and I liked the Melanie model. We were told by the salesgirl, Kristi Kapolka that the sofa was only available in that fabric and there were 2 colors available other then the red shown on the floor model. She provided swatches of the fabrics. When asked if she had them available for purchase, she checked her computer and said there weren’t any in the warehouse, but she could get us one in blue in approximately 6 weeks. My husband returned a couple weeks later and ordered the blue version of the sofa. March 31, 2007 the sofa was delivered and it is not anything like it was represented by the fabric swatch. We returned to the store and tried to discuss a resolution with the staff. Quickly we were turned over to the store manager, Kimberly Hawk who produced a store copy of our order. She showed it to us and said that it was proof that we special ordered a sofa and according to the policy stated on the order the sofa was nonrefundable. Two interesting things were immediately apparent – their store copy of the order had hand written notation “S/O” which is not on our copy of the receipt. Second, the box with the information about special orders specifically states that all special orders require 50% deposit, something we were not required to do. When I pointed that out the manager she stated they don’t worry about that, yet they do follow the nonrefundable/non-cancelable part! Also, they had marked out the first digit of the color of the item. And, as I tried to explain, money was not an object when we purchased the sofa, so if we could have special ordered the fabric to match our existing chairs we would have happily spent whatever necessary to do that. An option we were specifically told by the salesperson that was not available. To make the problem worse, the manager was extremely unprofessional and rude. She doesn’t appear to have any inkling of what customer service or satisfaction is. She abruptly ended the any further conversation by stating that she “didn’t have time for me” and I “could just contact Corporate”. As we were leaving the store she quickly and none too quietly grabbed our original salesgirl who had just returned from lunch and began coaching her on what to say and what the complaint was, while steering her into a back, private area. She was very obvious in her manipulation of the situation to ensure we were unable to talk to the salesgirl and verify our version of the story before. A possibility, I know is lost now. Ultimately we are left with a $1200.00 sofa we don’t like and did not intend to order and a very good lesson on why we will never deal with the LazBoy in Savannah again.
Does Lazboy sell computer/desk and chair? I looked at their website and found they sell big furnitures like sofa and recliner. I need a study desk and chair that cost less than $50 each. I'm wondering if Lazboy sells stuff similar to IKEA? Does Lazboy have small furnitures? I have never been to Lazboy...wanna get some ideas before I go there.
Would you like to see Ted Thomspon write Favre a $12 million check and then put him in a LaZBoy on the bench? Just to set an example? I would love to see him grow the balls necessary to do that. Accept his offer to come back, then show him a nice, comfy recliner with a beverage holder and the biggest ice chest full of beer you have ever seen. Or, being that he's from Mississippi, some moonshine. What do you think about a guy who says I'm not intelligent by writing a paragraph with too many errors to mention? Maybe all of those brats he has piled onto his 400 pound frame are taking their toll. "WANNA HERE A STORY? ONE DAY THERE WAS A MAN NAMED MR. LUMBER WHO COULDNT GET OVER FAVRE COMING BACK, AND HE WASNT VERY INTELLIGENT EITHER. SO ON EVERY SINGLE QUESTION THAT HE POSTED HE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE WISE TO RANT ABOUT FAVRE. THEN ONE DAY A BOY ANSWERED ONE OF HIS LAME QUESTIONS AND SAID, YOUR AN IDIOT. THE END."
