Chairs and Recliners

Would recliners look ok in a seating arrangement that is centered in the room? In a large Great Room, I want to have the seating arrangement in the center of the room, surrounding the fireplace. I have two sofas, and then two chairs drafted into the plan, all in a square in the center of the room. Would the two chairs look okay as recliners, or should they be more defined accent-type chairs?

What color sofa goes best with dark burgundy recliners and very pale yellow walls? I need to buy a leather sofa or sectional but I am having a problem figuring out what color will go with my room. In addition to the walls I have new carpeting that has light browns and golds in it. Dark brown seemed like a good choice but my issue is the recliners.

Is there any difference in quality between fiberboard and hard wood frames in recliners? If you tip a recliner to its side and look underneath, you can see some of the frame. I've seen both hard wood and fiber- board frames (I prefer wood over metal). Are there any differences in quality, durability, etc., between recliner frames that use these materials?

The attached seat cushions on my recliners aren't as comfy as they used to be. How can I fix that? The cushions are attached so I can't remove them and replace the foam. Recliner footrest cover? I need a slip cover JUST for the footrest portion of our recliners. Can't find 'em! Most slipcovers sold for recliners are for the whole recliner - I ONLY want the part that goes over the footrest! Preferably something simple, perhaps with an elastic edge that can be "slipped over" the footrest to hold it in place. I am just furnishing a small Victorian terraced house that I bought recently and can't afford everything at once but meanwhile really need a good, comfortable chair in which to relax.
